Local
- A one-day workshop ‘Eco-vision’ for the EDC Secretaries and Chairmen of EDCs was conducted by the Periyar Foundation during 2005 to elaborate the visions of Periyar Foundation in carrying forward the Ecodevelopment initiatives.
- A one-day workshop on designing training modules for Periyar Foundation in September 2005 with participation for forest officials from different parts of Kerala.
Regional
- A 4-day Training Workshop was organized by Periyar Foundation in association with Periyar Tiger Reserve and Indian Veterinary Association for the veterinary doctors of South India on wildlife health management and role of veterinarians in wildlife crime investigations.
National
- A 2-day Workshop for planning ecotourism in Protected Areas was conducted in Periyar Tiger Reserve by Wildlife Institute of India in association with Periyar Foundation.
International
- A one-week workshop on Amphibian Biodiversity Conservation Course – South Asia 2007 was organized by Zoo Outreach Organization in association with Periyar Foundation during December 2007.
