“Periyar Foundation is a Government owned public trust with the legality of the Government organization and flexibility of a good non-governmental organization.
The main aim of the Foundation is to facilitate and support Periyar Tiger Reserve management in biodiversity conservation initiatives through eco-development and people’s participation and to support similar initiatives in adjoining landscapes.
